Bamboo is a "green floor," produced from 4-6 year growth Bamboo grass, unlike the 100 years or more it may take a hardwood tree to reach maturity.

Unlike most species, harvesting does not kill the plant, and it's complex network of roots is excellent at preventing soil erosion.

Bamboo also benefits the global environment by absorbing ozone depleting carbon dioxide and is often used to "repair" soil that has been over-grazed or overused.

We used Klumpp European finishes on our bamboo, one of the best bamboo finishes available. With six layers of coating, UV coating, and anti-scratch protectant, our finishes are some of the best in the business. We also coat the bottom and all sides to help further protect the floor from moisture.

All materials are available in a satin finish with a 35% gloss. All floorings are available in other finishes by special order.
